History of Visco

Incorporated in October 1968, the initial focus for Visco Rentals & Contractors was water and sewer projects, but demolition was often performed to make way for the utility infrastructure projects. By 1980, Visco transitioned to predominantly demolition and Visco Demolition was incorporated in 1990.

Ron Visser took over day-to-day management responsibilities of Visco Demolition in the 1990s which allowed the company founder, Neil Visser, to semi-retire. In the late 2010s, Sonya (Visser) Green assumed the day-to-day management of her family’s demolition business and Ron moved into a consulting role with Visco Demolition to ensure that his demolition expertise is available when required. Sonya became President of Visco Demolition in May of 2019.
