The former Edson Hospital, auxiliary buildings, adjacent parking lot and all infrastructure on a full city block were removed as well as the Community Healthcare Center buildings in downtown Edson. The project scope included hazardous abatement and demolition of all structures. The project sites were restored to original grades with backfill, topsoil, and seed. The cantilevered hospital building was built over a creek on pilings along the property’s west side. Visco completed the demolition during winter and covered the frozen Wase Creek with protective material to prevent any debris from entering the creek.
