
Sonya has been Project Manager for more than 250 demolition projects of varying size and complexity and has managed over $100 million of revenue at Visco Demolition. She routinely oversees concurrent large demolition projects that require a large number of experienced workers. The efficient management of Visco’s resources allows the company to safely complete projects across the province while operating a 10-acre recycling yard in Edmonton. Sonya joined the family business in 2014, having spent more than ten years of her career in Risk Management at Deloitte and Cenovus Energy. Her Risk Management background was an asset while transforming the operations to meet industry best practices in health, safety, and environment. Sonya has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Rice University in Houston, Texas and a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Physical Geography from University of Alberta.

Ron has over 30 years of demolition experience and managed Visco Demolition for more than 20 years. During his tenure at Visco Demolition, Ron developed a vast knowledge of demolition risks, appropriate mitigation and abatement/demolition procedures. Ron maintains an on-site presence for demolition projects that have high risk components or tight schedules. As an extensively experienced equipment operator, he will personally demolish high risk components and/or provide guidance/training to other operators. Ron has managed On-Track Railway Services since 2017 and On-Track Earthworx since 2019. He is able to leverage assets and personnel in the railway and earthworks companies as needed to support demolition and site remediation projects for Visco.

Wes has been managing Visco Demolition’s project estimating and quote submissions since 2014. He brings a critical eye for detail and analytical expertise to the estimating process and has been successful in securing more than $75 million of demolition projects. Wes works closely with operations to support successful project completion and assist with Visco’s recycling operations. Prior to joining Visco, Wes worked in the energy trading and marketing groups of some of the largest natural gas and electricity companies in North America for more than two decades.

Tony has managed more than 50 projects at Visco and has been employed at Visco for more than 10 years. He has a thorough understanding of demolition processes and procedures. He managed the abatement scope of work on Visco’s largest project to date, Michener Centre North, and then managed the contaminated soil removals the following year at the same site. He started his career as a Journeyman Red Seal Welder and excavator operator, so he has significant construction site experience.
