The former Edmonton Municipal Airport Parkade was a large 5-storey concrete parking garage that Visco Demolition demolished in November to December 2022.

All the concrete from slabs, foundations and site improvements was trucked to a stockpile location within the Blatchford site in preparation for crushing. The mobile crushing plant crushed the concrete into 63mm recycled concrete aggregate and was stockpiled for future use by the City of Edmonton during the development of Blatchford.

In total, 1,716 truckloads of concrete were moved to the stockpile location within a month.

In addition, 49 loads of cable and rebar were recycled by Visco.
